  2. I have some SM9 wedges on the way that was fit for. The feel of these go unmatched and I cannot wait to have them in the bag and get to work improving my wedge game! Thanks for the video!

Good tips for dialing the wedges in. Personally, I rarely hit a full shot with any of my clubs below my 7 iron, sticking primarily with no more than a 3/4 swing, with an approximately 15 yard gap between the clubs as I work up from the 58 (bent to 59) degree Vokey SM 9 (12/D).

Love this tip. I think this would be crucial to getting the scores down substantially.
  5. Thanks for the video, currently play a mix of sm7/sm8 black wedges. Tried my dads sm9s and first swing hit it to 2 feet. Love the feel!

Everybody bombs it these days, just went to a match play event, the talk of the weekend was flighted wedges, and that's what separates the men from the boys. The 1/2 and 3/4 shots are the difference between good and great. Great concept to record your yardages, started by Tom Kite 30+ years ago, 4 wedges/3 swings = 12 numbers.

I know this goes without saying, but it really is the make or break part of the game. For me, when my short game is on point (or I hit a lot of GIR) I can shoot in the high 70s/low 80s. If my short game is not sharp I'm in trouble. I've been putting in some extra hours on chipping and pitching on the practice green at my local course, because that's the weakest part of my game. If I can make improvements from 100 yards in, I'll be a happy golfer. Lot's of work to do!

Great tips for the short game. Plan to go to the range and work on determining my distances.
