If you struggle because you hang back on iron shots, all you need is a bottle of water. Add this drill from Titleist staff member Jason Baile to your practice regimen and start shifting better laterally, an important factor when it comes to applying force and making solid contact with the golf ball.

I just recently started hitting my driver on the heel, i mean way off the heel almost hosel steikes. And can't figure out what has changed. Went from one of my favorite sticks in the bag to one I don't want to hit. Still flush my irons center of the face strikes. Just lost on what changed in my diver swing. Any help to figure it out again would be greatly appreciated

T, without seeing your swing, no one should speculate on how or why these heel strikes are occurring. But regardless of the technical reason, something that really helped me was Cameron McCormick's "Jump the Fence" drill. Sometimes simply changing your intention can correct the motor pattern and get you back on track. For heel strikes, you'd want to sole your driver on the far side of the fence, as Cam describes in this article he shared with us:

    Hope this helps!
