    Hi TT family,

I was thinking about this the other day, and wondered what you thought.

I remember watching golf, and seeing a handful of golfers basically dominate the tour.  Today, it really is anybody's guess who will win from tournament to tournament.

I actually prefer seeing so many great golfers going for the win.  A friend of mine said he misses the days of dominance.  I have long believed that any golfer that makes the cut is talented enough to be playing, and now it seems, to win as well.

    What do you think?

Well, it is what it is.  Came across an interview with Pauly Goydos and he suggested that the all the new guys on tour would have been middle linebackers 20 years ago.  Unless a superman arises from all that, it will be quite a rotation all season long.  Everyone can reach the par 5s in 2.

I agree that the variety of winners is great for the game.  To see different guys in the "winner's circle" each week is pretty neat and you get really get to see how much talent is out there on the PGA Tour, and not limited to just a few select players.  It seems like it is anybody's guess who will pull ahead each week and it makes for much more interesting watching, in my opinion, then the same guys winning each week.

How cool it is to watch a guy like Jason Allred Monday qualify and then be in contention on Sunday afternoon?   Isn't it great to have so many guys in the mix as it comes down to the final holes on Sunday?  Personally I think this makes for much better finishes than wondering who is duking it out for second place each week.

I think seeing different players, going for the win on Sunday, makes for a more interesting tournament. It should also make the Fedex Cup standings more exciting, at the end of the season.

I really enjoy when Monday qualifiers get into contention on Sunday.  The Jason Allred story was great. He seemed very appreciative and well deserving.

Seeing all the different guys winning and being in contention each week is great as well. But I also enjoy watching TW chase history. So far this year is shaping up to be a very exciting year.

I like watching and knowing anyone can win.  It's more exciting week to week.  It's fun to watch someone dominate, but after a while I think that gets boring.

I really enjoy not knowing until near the end who will win.  I think TW still has a great chance at writing history, I also think that with so many pros able to win, any records will mean that much more.

Another great thing about so many players having a chance at winning is Titleist balls and equipment get show cased even more :)

Agreed! It also helps validate my golf budget and all my Titleist purchases. Especially when I see MY clubs being pulled out, swung at rocks and bushes and the ball lands 3 feet from the hole.

    Please pass the Vokeys!
