I'd say it's well worth your money. The value of the initial swag you get from joining is much more than the actual price of the club and it allows you special access to Cameron releases throughout the year as well.

IMHO it is a matter of perspective and what your plans are with the club...as a collector myself the club is worthwhile however if you only plan on picking up one or two covers for gaming it may or may not be worthwhile...
I also like the accessories and bags released so beyond headcovers there are many extras!
Good Luck
Got one of these yesterday...again Thanks to being a member of the cameron club since it sold out in about 6 minutes!
Membership has its priviledges! IMHO

I have been a club Cameron member for the past two years and have enjoyed it. While they do not release a lot of the HC's you would play for you certain putter, they do release an awesome amount of limited HC for collecting. If you do decided to join I would recommend following him on twitter and setting up notifications for when releases happen. Even if you do become a member it doesn't mean you automatically get limited HC's they can still sell out.

They do offer some neat items each year like the Scotty dog belt buckle this year. I was thinking of joining in January once the new items are announced.

I'm interested in Club Cameron as well but have decided to join yet. I'm unsure of the actual benefits to purchase limited edition merchandise. I have a new Golo 5, my first Cameron putter. Will the Club Cameron HC fit a mallet style.

i asked the same question and was told that mallard head covers are not part of

I've been a CC member for years and I think it's worth it. The cost of the membership gets you the membership kit, so it's not like it's just wasted money. Mallet options have always been in short supply, but we're seeing them released more often every year. If you're patient, I'd say you'll find something that you like. I think Cameron putters are the hightest quality putting instrument out there.

Hey Jake, my stock answer whenever I see a post of "is it worth it?", is, "are you worth it?" All Titleist brand products are the most expensive because they are the most researched, tested and developed and are at the top of every category they represent. So, if you think you're worth the best, they are there waiting for you. Enjoy the best and don't worry about the rest. Good luck!

It depends on what you consider "worth it." I was a member for a couple of years but ultimately decided it wasn't worth it to me. Sure, you get your money's worth out of the membership package. But only if the items included are things you want and would consider buying anyway. When you sign up you always get that year's head cover. They are typically "OK." I have a couple of them and I haven't used them. They're a generic style and I have other covers that I like better. You will also get some sort of "cool" item. It could be a putting cup, belt buckle, milled valet, or something similar. Those are usually pretty cool and could be useful. Lastly, they usually throw in a sticker or two and a lapel pin.
So, if you went out and bought each item, would it be worth more than the membership cost? Yes. But would you buy each item if you saw them at the store? Possibly not.
Now, for the "benefits." You get a 48 hour head-start when new items are released. For some releases, that means a guaranteed opportunity to buy. But for others, everything sells out in minutes. If you're quick, you will get the chance to grab some really cool items (other than the head covers).
With all that said, you have to decide what you want to get out of the membership. Do you want to start collecting all of the head covers? Do you want some of the extra limited items that occasionally get released (like a bag)? Or do you just want to get one or two covers to use? And lastly, are the items in the membership package things you want? For me personally, I wasn't looking to collect a lot of covers and last years membership package wasn't my style. So I decided not to renew. But if I like next year's membership package, I might join again.

Thank you TDOGG. Do you know when the membership program for 2016 will be released? Also, does anyone have any pictures of the head covers from previous years memberships and the extras? If so, that would be a lot of help.
No problem. Looking back through my emails, it looks like the new membership packages were released around January 7th each year. Honestly, the best way to see what was offered it the past is to search on google. If you search for 2015 (or 2014, 2013, etc...) Scotty Cameron Membership Package, you'll see pictures of everything that was included.
You can join CC at any point during the year and it last for a year upon your purchasing date, not calendar year. The new CC kits are released at the beginning of each calendar year. If you are on twitter I would recommend following Scotty and setting up notifications on his account. This will give you a heads up on when he does releases before everyone gets the email.
Below is the CC headcover for 2015, you also got a sticker and a pin with it
You can also still join now in 2015. You'll get the 2015 package and releases for the rest of the year. You'll probably also get an email to renew your membership next year so there's less fuss for you.
It ususally released in January however you can join at any time throughout the year and be entitled to the current year package...

I have been a member since 2003. I think it is still worth it, however in the early years there was a back pack one year and a duffle bag another as part of the sets. I think the membership was probably too good of deal back then.
harry hLasvegas, NV
Yes you should join as I have I like being a very small part of the big pic Scotty provides for his followers. I feel when I read his blog web site etc I'm there in some small way I have the mx5'putter love it

I think its worth it for the cameron club gifts alone. If you happened to be available on Tuesdays when the releases pop up them its a no brainer!
Matt PDublin, OH
This has absolutely nothing to do with this thread but, Putterho's collection is unreal. It's better than unreal. I strive to have a collection half as good as his.
Is club cameron worth it? I picked up this set yesterday...which sold out quickly of course...needed to be a club member to get in on the action!
Cath D.Carlsbad, CA
Nice! Even as a Club Cameron member, I was too late - by the time I started to check out, each cover went to zero in my cart, indicating sold out .....lol
Great looking set. I got the two towels and the bull version off the putter cover. Couldn't pull the trigger on the bag. Hoping for the serape one to be released sometime soon.
Kellan Tsurrey, BC
It's worth it to me! So many cool limited items.
David SNashville, TN
I'm a bit confused. Do you receive a new head cover each year when you pay your renewal amount, or do you get a head cover only once upon your initial payment?
December 03, 2015 At 11:57 AM
Every year you get that years welcome package. You can pretty much bet on it being a cover, a sticker or two, a pin, and some other unique item.

Thanks so much, tdogg21, for the clarification. I think I might just jump in in January when the new stuff appears.
