I got my first Scotty last Christmas and loved it. After about 3 months I noticed a small mark on the top of the blade exactly where you look to line up your putt. Over the last few months it has gradually gotten worse. I kept trying to feel inside my putter cover to make sure there wasn't any sand of a little rock stuck in there but couldn't find anything. Yesterday I started to get very annoyed with the mark on top of my putter and had another look in my putter cover and found there is a hole in the cover and it is scratching the top of my putter as there is not enough fluffy stuff over it. The cover has been taken care of and not treated poorly, just not made well.

To be honest I am very disappointed as these putters are meant to be the mark in workmanship, why is the cover not made well enough to protect to putter, let alone actually damage the finish?

i am starting to hate looking at it, I don't like looking down at it when lining up my putt. dont want the distraction.

is this a common problem with Scotty putters and covers?

sorry to sound like a winger

    thanks

    Chris

  2. Hi Chris,

I forwarded this over to our Australian office, so someone should be in contact shortly.

    Chris,

Sorry to hear about the issue that you've had with your Cameron headcover. I've owned approximately 85 headcovers at one time and I"ve never had an issue with a headcover, in fact I used one headcover for several years and it still looks new.

  5. I have a lot of headcovers (and I mean alot! like many others in this community) and NEVER have encountered this issue...sorry to hear about your unfortunate situation...glad to see Chris T has forwarded this issue on to the appropriate person...

    Good Luck!

Hope that it all gets worked out for you

Interesting problem that I've never heard of happening before?  I can't figure what would cause that?

In any case, again, best of luck getting it all sorted

    Chris,

I can sympathize with your problem.  Both my wife and I have Scotty California 2010-2011 models that came with the decorative "art of putting" head covers.  Early on  both of the head covers developed tears inside from the top seam opening.  Since the flaws are identical I assume it was a production problem.
