I'm playing one of the original Futura's from 2003. I've tried a number of Scotty's over the years: Newport's, Kombi, GoLo, Futura Counterbalance, but I tend to make more putts with this old Futura. BUT, my miss tends to be due to leaving putts short. The Futura is so light, that it's sometimes difficult to trust my stroke that I'm not going to blast the ball a mile past the hole.
Is a heavier putter something I should consider? And what if I change from a Baby T grip to something along the lines of a larger SuperStoke type?
