Today was my third round with my new SC Fastback. The solid feel is incredible. Last year I averaged 32 putts per round using a TM Spider Tour Red since last April. My three rounds with the Fastback were 36 putts, 32 putts and today, 29 putts. Today I had 8 x 1-putts, including ones from 1 foot, 2 feet, 8, 4, 6, 10 and 54 feet! I am absolutely deadly from 4-5 feet, which I attribute to the solid roll on short ones. I was too tentative with the Spider, which is lighter and has a polymer insert. The Fastback forces me to commit to the stroke. Today I had three birdies and just missed 2-3 more. My putting has lagged the rest of my game, but now I think it may catch up.
