Cutting shaft down for a Junior

    I have an extra Newport 2 that I picked up used awhile back that I’m wanting to cut down for my kid who is currently using a US Kids putter. The SC is 34” and I’m wanting to take 10” off. Is there a rule of thumb regarding swing weight that I should follow?

    You will pretty much have to experiment with adding weight to the head until you get the feel you want. Making it that short will really affect the swingweight

    Worked out great. I out 45g weights and cut it down to 25”. He loves it.
