Cross country scramble...

    Our course had a toys for tots scramble on Monday this week, it was a blast. Cross country is you tee off on 18 and go to let's say you go to the green on #12. Shortest hole was 275 and longest was 530. Anyone else ever play one of those?

    Never have or even heard of such a thing, but sounds really cool to do.

    I have done something similar but not on purpose. #5 on a course I play if you go right off the tee you will have a good chance of being on the green for hole #15 a par 3......

    We have one at our place in the fall, 12 holes of tow man scramble. It's a blast and a GPS device sure helps. Some holes require a little creative thinking on how to get from tee to green.

    I haven't played in one yet, but it seems like more courses around me are hosting these events in the early fall.
