  1. It’s supposed to be 50 here in Philly today so going to get 9 holes in. Who is still playing or trying to play with the cold weather sneaking in??

Played in Cleveland last 3 days. Not my best but think my clubs were angry at me for not using AVX's.

I played last Friday and Saturday at my club (south of Boston), two temporary greens. Both were nice days, Saturday a bit better due to the sun shining.

Plan is to play on New Year's Day, annual type of "tournament" that usually gets a pretty good crowd weather permitting.

Didn't play ,but was at an outdoor range last Friday in Toronto. Temp was 11 C ( abt 54 F) .As long as there is no snow on the ground, this place is open.

Just got back to MD from Christmas with family in Florida (and a a few warm rounds there), but had already played 7 rounds here in Maryland this month up until I left for Florida on the 19th. Some were quite cold and windy. Got back from FL today (Monday, the 30th) and it was 52 degrees. Unfortunately, too late to play when I got home. However, I'm planning to play the next 3 or 4 days in a row.

I have a cart cover and heater for the real bad days. As long as it's above 38 and the wind isn't too bad, I'm usually out there.
  7. Not quite what you asked but North West (England) too wet to play... Course closed for all but a handful of days in December - Not really been dry since the end of August. The last quarter of 2019 has been rubbish.
I'm sure some clubs in the region are struggling financially as a result of the weather.
Membership subs due from 1-1-2020 will help cashflow but the damage has already been done.
Have to hope that the weather changes in the New Year and we have a bumper spring & summer.

Play all year here in Wareham Mass. As long as course is open there are a few of us weekday members that get out. Doesn't matter if it is 20 degrees. We just dress for it. I do play my winter set, 714 AP1's and 913 metals. Holding off for softer ground conditions (probably April) to break out T300's and TS metals.
  9. Played this past Thursday, here in the Pittsburgh area. A little wet, but quite enjoyable.

We had 6 foursomes for our New Year's Day outing. Temps were in the low 40's, the sun was shining but it was a bit windy-great start to 2020!
  11. Agreed with everyone as long as there is no snow and you dress right....you can get a good amount of rounds in!
  12. If it is over 42 degrees I got the club for it here in CT...gotta keep that swing

Just went back to work today. Had the whole month of Dec. off from my course. Was able to get abot 15 rounds in there. Half the rounds were on frozen greens, the other half, the temps were in the 50s, with 2 days reaching 60. It was a great month off here in Southern N.J. at the shore!!
    Play Well,

Here in Michigan still warm enough, I can't play right now but I saw carts right before Christmas at the Riverview Highlands Golf Course right down the street from me.
I got to stay strong and resist temptation.
For the next 3 weeks, it will be way above average temps around here.

Hit or miss now; even though temps are warmer than usual, the courses are soaked.
