For those lucky enough to win tickets in the lottery wear comfortable shoes! Arrive when the gates open and stay late. Take plenty of pics and remember to leave your phone in the car. Enjoy your time!

Hey Amanda, I hope you're kidding but if not there is this amazing invention called a camera which believe they still sell. Been taking pictures with one for over 50 years. Cameras are allowed at the Masters on practice round days only.

Hi Rick, thank you for asking, the back is it coming along great, we actually did some strength tests yesterday on therapy, the back held up really well with no pain during full swings, I got work on getting my tempo back, but as far as speed and turn I am feeling really good.
I have a few more sessions scheduled then my doctor's follow up on April 3rd, so and so far it seems that I can start practicing short after.

Thanks Elson! Now you REALLY got me going for anticipation. The Golf Channel is already on 24/7 at my house anyway, having me dying for Spring to get here. AND my Scotty comes back from the Custom Shop in the morning. I missed the lottery AGAIN this year, so we'll be in there plugging for next year. Until then, it'll be watching the Par 3 Contest Wednesday afternoon (Thank you Mr. Johnson and Mr. Payne!), the streaming coverage while working Thursday and Friday, the early round coverage on TV, while the computer is streaming the "featured groups" too, early coverage while at the Club after finishing a round (God willing Spring actually comes in), then home to watch on the couch, again with the computer going too. Not that I watch a lot of Masters coverage though.
  13. The Masters channel on Youtube is an amazing thing.

Always looked forward to watching the Masters. My favorite of the majors. What a beautiful area and course. Bobby Jones dream came true. For many years we would drive up to Augusta from Charleston on Monday or Tuesday pay our $10.50 at the gate and walk those hallowed grounds and take some awesome pictures. Have some wonderful memories in my scrapbooks. Before digital. Then week ending April 10, 1994 it all came to a stop. That Monday the attendance on Monday was close to 60,000 and I told my buddy that I thought we had seen the last of these trips and sure enough, the next year they went to the lottery system. I am very blessed to have gone to the Masters just about every day of the week and those weekends were insane. To be there is something that is very special, but with the crowds getting larger and larger, I now enjoy sitting at home in front of my big screen watching a lot more golf. I went a few years after 1994, hitting the lottery a couple of times and had a few friends up there who had those lifetime passes. I am one who is very bless to say I have been to the Masters. Heck it is only three hours NW from Charleston by way of Bamberg. Know Bamberg very well, have left a number of dollars with the local Magistrate. Such a scenic drive just did not seen those 45 signs. Hoping many of you will have the opportunity to go at least once to enjoy that dream of Bobby Jones. It is something to behold and a southern tradition. Ya'll come.

The lead up to the masters is a wonderful time!
  19. The masters is magical! Shame BBC has lost all coverage of it.

  20. I haven't been on the grounds yet. Lottery hasn't come through for me. I think for enjoying the tournament it's best to watch coverage at home. I'd like to walk the course at least once to get a good perspective of it that doesn't come through on the coverage.
Until then, I'll enjoy watching it in my Augusta National/Masters room and having the smoker going!

    Can't wait.
  21. And I secured that Thursday and Friday out of the office. Really can't wait now!
