  1. I live near kansas city, mo. And played a lot of different golf courses, looking to take a golf trip with a couple buddies from high school. Where would anyone recommend? Been to myrtle beach, and orlando.

  2. Scottsdale Az, ocean city MD, or in the summer Cape Cod

If you wish to stay closer to home, you might consider Hot Springs Village, AR. Lots of courses located within the Village proper that offer a variety of golf experiences. Another option might be the Branson, MO area.
  4. For a buddies trip I highly recommend Scottsdale. Great choices for golf, but also lots of great restaurants, bars and nightlight for afterwards.

Bend, Oregon is pretty cool. You'll have choices between mountain/forest type courses and desert courses.

Pinehurst. Small village built around golf courses.
Hilton Head Island. Several courses to choose from.
Alabama's Trent Jones Trail. 11 locations with 1-3 courses each.
Pete Dye challenger, Whistling Strait's. Two beautiful courses.
New England has some good courses.
Phoenix has a lot to offer. Can be awful hot in summer.

Did a road trip from Ohio to Montana a few years ago. About mid morning I'd ask GPS for golf courses and picked one, a lot of fun.

Drew, we can help but we need a few boundaries. Price range, distance away (drive or fly), historic/epic courses or just cheap and fun?, etc. You might also get some ideas from reading older posts under the "Travel" category.
  9. Hey dale. We're looking for something driving distance this year but we take a big trip every other year. We like to play historic courses and a cheap one or two in there. We normally stay 6 to 7 days and play every day. That's a great idea, i will read up on that. Thank you!
  10. Thank you everyone for the replies and ideas. I think we have a few idea's of our next trips! Thank you for the idea's again

Arcadia Bluffs located on the northwest side of the lower peninsula here in Michigan. Stunning views as the course is situated on the coast of Lake Michigan. Beautiful.
