    Happy #ThePlayers week, Team Titleist!

We’re looking forward to watching our tour players compete on the famed TPC Sawgrass. It’s always fun to watch The Players because to me, it signals that spring is almost here and golf season is just beginning (except for you lucky Southern Cal/Florida/Arizona people… :) )

To kick off the week, we caught up with a few players before they headed out for practice rounds for a quick #content shoot. Here are a couple of pictures from the day (L to R: Ball Player Viktor Hovland, Cameron Smith's bag (peep the black finish T100 irons), JT Poston's bag, Rafa Cabrera-Bello, Webb Simpson's Bag and Tyler Duncan).

Also, ICYMI: We asked players one of the toughest questions they will face this week. Here’s how it went:

You’re standing on the teebox of #17 at TPC Sawgrass  - the famed island green. Except you only have two choices for which club to hit – A 5-iron, or your lob wedge. Which club do you choose?

    Their answers:

Now we want to know: Are you hitting a 5-iron or a lob wedge? Decisions, decisions...

Chock down , open the face and swing the 5 as I would have to nuke a lob edge

Probably guna be a very soft 5 iron , don’t think I’d reach with a 60 degree vokey

I'd have to say the 5-iron. Keep it low and out of the swirling wind.
  5. 5 iron. I can thin shots with the best of them, but that's a long ways to be accurate with a thinned LW.
  6. I would have to go 5 iron and then lob wedge after i hit in the drink with the 5 iron.

Chip, cut 5 iron for me.
  8. I originally thought 5 iron 1/2 shot tees up but after listening to the pros I’m all in for a lob to the left and lay up to hope to scramble for par.

Well hero shot muscle that lob wedge up there, the result would probably be the water, the I would have to take it from the drop zone.
Safe bet, choke way down on the 5 put the ball a little forward on my stance, open the face and try to get a nice low to the ground swing. A little prayer to the golf gods on the back swing and just hope.

Depends on which tees we are playing from.......when I was there with TT, I hit a seven iron to the top left on the green. That green is smaller than it looks on TV. From the Champions tee, I would have to go with a chocked up high soft five iron being 73 years old and I believe it is only 132 yards.....

Choke down and with an abbreviated finish hit a little knockdown 5. It should hit the green but will it stay on the green? Probably not!!!

I’ll probably just throw the ball in the water, then proceed to drop area with a lob wedge and hole out for par :)

I’ll hit the 5 iron. Open the face, aim a little left and fade it right in there.

Tournament distance is about 150 yards as I recall. After playing that hole a couple years ago, I can't imagine a 5 iron shot holding that green. So I'd go with the wedge and hope to get enough bite to stick.

    Best clubhouse I've been to.

    Great content TT!

Lol!! I don't even carry a 5 iron. I have a 5 hybrid, and I would use that for sure.
    Play Well,

Before watching the video I would have said 5 iron, but after watching I like the hit to the drop area then shoot for the four...maybe a three.

Since my 60º wedge is usually good for 150 yards when I'm laying short side of the green on the beach...I'd say I have a good chance of a pin high tomahawk with the trusty lob. FORE!

Knock down 5 iron off my back foot just to keep it spinning and give the PROV1 a low flight into the wind. I can see it now, the PROV1 lands... One - two -stick.... hopefully, lol!
