  1. My thought of the day as I was driving all around southern Wisconsin.

With the PGA Tour suspending patrons from coming to events, I assume they will reimburse the price of the tickets. However, the person that paid $3,000 for a Sunday ticket or $600 for a practice round for the Masters on the aftermarket, are they just SOL? Maybe get the face value, but that would be well less than what they paid.

Or do you think the person who sold the ticket would reimburse them for it?

Either way, it could get really messy in the coming weeks if it gets worse.

    Stay healthy.

If you purchased tickets thru a third party unfortunately you will most likely be out of luck.

I would say that anyone who bought tickets on the aftermarket are SOL. Let's face it, ticket scalpers are not warm and fuzzy people. They are mercenaries, plain and simple.

Not to mention that Augusta National reserves the right to deny admission a patron if they determine the ticket was not a direct sale to that patron. I wouldn't even buy one at face value.
For those that did win the lottery, now missing an opportunity to see the Masters will be a great disappointment. Looks like my honeydew list will be getting serious attention for at least the next 3 weeks.

The price you pay when you buy from a scalper. My concern is the safety of the patrons and the players.

You know that is a complicated topic, it could all depend on the refund policy set by the vendor, I would like to think that ticket companies would refund the purchase, but most will be after that dollar.

Guess they will be deferred to later in the year. The Augusta National Club committee announced this morning the postponement of the Masters for this year. The courses closes May to September.
