Our club opened the course back up on Saturday the 18th. Members only, no guests whatsoever and walking only. For those of us with DMV handicap placards, we will be able to use carts, 1 per player. Prior rules still in effect, 6 ft. distancing and no rakes in the bunkers. Pro Shop, Halfway house and Clubhouse are still closed so members are allowed to bring their favorite beverages from home. One added rule, no post round gatherings. You play golf and head home. After being shutdown for 3 weeks, I'll go along with whatever they say. Being able to play again is the main thing.

  2. I always say...golf is like pizza. Some are better than others but it’s still pizza! Glad you can get out there, much needed relaxation in a tense time.

Our governor opened up golf courses as of April 24, with social distancing rules. I'm taking a half day off and playing 18 in the afternoon. Last week we had a lot of snow, which melted. A white ground again this morning, which quickly melted. An inch expected overnight again. It may be cold and rainy on Friday, but rain gear, a stocking hat and FJ fall weather gloves will make it OK. I'm excited to get back out.

  4. All of the courses in IL are closed, across the river in Iowa though some courses are letting IL residents play where others are not.

I will be watching the weather and setting up some tee times at a near by course in IA in the near future.

They just opened Riverside County, so San Diego shouldn't be too far behind!

i think i’m gonna feel awkward swinging with a mask on. Now trying to figure out which course to play first.

I heard rumblings that our Governor was going to allow golf courses to reopen again a couple of days ago but, alas, I am still waiting with bated breath LOL

Did not hear that our governor officially closed the golf courses in South Carolina. Those that did close did it voluntarily. A very controversial subject. Like Florida, golf brings a lot of money into the state.

Here in Stockton Ca (Northern Ca) the county health board allowed our golf courses to open up on April 25.with safety measures in place..such as if your ball lands in a bunker you pick up your ball clean the bunker with your shoe because there are no rakes..take a drop one club length from where the ball entered the bunker and play on..no penalty.on the greens they have a disc covering the hole as long as the ball hits the disc it counts as a holed put..Iam not sure I like that so if you have a 20 ft put and you hit it hard enough to go 30 ft as long as it hits the disc it counts as a made put..oh well at least there open for play hope more courses open up for the rest of our Team Titleist member...Enjoy..Stay Safe.

Our courses in NC have remained open. Weather has been poor here in the mountains so I've only played two rounds since the start of this nightmare. However, the courses have been quite busy as kids are out of school and nothing to do and so many not working also looking for something to do. Even the private club I belong to has had a large increase in number of rounds for this time of year even with cool temperatures and tons of rain.

I’m in Scotland and cant remember a warm sunny April like it and all courses are closed,I’ve not heard a whisper of when they will open, can’t believe how much I’m missing this frustrating annoying bloody game.......told the Mrs that when they open I’m going missing, says she’s fed up looking at me anyway.......it’s great to be loved.

Here in Austria, courses officilially open back up this Friday, May 1. There will be restrictions in place: members only, no touching of flagsticks, no raking of bunkers, social distancing, clubhouse and restaurants closed. Not too bad.

I'm really excited and can't wait for Friday. Haven't played any golf except for putting at home since March 14. The first round will be an absolute mess. :D
