Depends who I play with and the course.

Living on a golf course and being able to play everyday after work gets me through the work day. I couldn’t imagine only playing on weekends.

Usually play all 18 in my head the night before. (a couple of times!)

I always get amped up for a round, specifically the weekend rounds with the boys. If I’m playing a course I’m not familiar with I always spend some time planning... there are always holes where it makes sense to hit less than driver. I use the golf u app from swing by swing and that really helps me strategize to take bunkers out of play and hit full shots into greens. I also have become a creature of habit to my pre round routine. I need to at least hit a short bucket and spend 15 minutes or so on the practice green to play my best!

I still get excited before every round! Just being able to get out and play the game I love gets me fired up. That being said, I get a little more excited when I’m going with a buddy or my dad. I have a membership so I get to play a bit more than my friends and family so getting out with one of them or a group of them is a bit of a treat for me.

I mostly play on Saturdays, but I am the same way, usually, I schedule the rounds a week in advance and spend the week thinking on how I want to play the course, right now my work is not too busy, so I have time to sit and think on the variables of how I am playing each hole of the course, I try to imagine the perfect round with my skills and take in consideration where I played each shot the last time I played in that course and what I would try to repeat or do differently than before.
Without our regular golf league, I am mostly playing 18 once a week, there is an executive muni right around the corner, I am interested in playing twilight golf on Wednesdays.
