  1. Hi TT:

Looking for update from the December post. How is everyone doing?

    1. Relish the chance to play the sport I love--playing regularly is great 2.Get back in 70s consistently- not once yet but showing some signs. 3.Get index back down to 7.5 or less---going the wrong way 4.Play more with my wife who is taking up the game.--doing more of this happy wife happy life! 5.Get back into playing tournaments--some scheduled in a month or so. 6. Win more Sunday morning matches than I lose--so far so good 5-2

Wasn't involved in initial discussion but my only goal for 2020 was to get down to category one (5 handicap) before the World Handicap Index comes in (where i'll get to five anyway i think). 0.1 increase in this weekend's medal so not going the right direction!

Well, I’ve not really got any goals for 2020 now thanks to COVID-19.
I last played golf in September 2019 but had to stop due to arthritis making it just too painful. I then went on medication that started to really help. The only problem is that it makes me immunosuppressed...
I went outside for the first time since March yesterday. Walked a few holes with my son and hit a few shots. Unfortunately still painful, so I guess my goal will be firstly to feel safe going out and then to be able to play without pain...
  4. All the best hope you and the world start to heal.

Well i initially said I wanted to get off the tee better so my approach shots will toward the green & not the fairway then green. well right now the only way I am getting off the tee better is if I don't hit a drive. But still working on it and will get there. Hdcp is soaring at a record pace and could hit 25 by year end.

So far I’m crushing my 2020 goals! The goals I’ve met are to hit 60% FIR and I’m at 70%. Hit 35% GIR and I’m at 44%. Shoot 75 or lower and my best I shot was a 73. Get to a 7 handicap or lower and I’m at a 6.6. And the only goal I haven’t reached yet is to play 100 rounds or more and so far I’ve played just over 50 rounds this year. So I’ve completed all but one of my goals for the year. I’m going to say my game has improved immensely since receiving my T100 irons and during lockdown I spent a ton of time practicing my short game. I’ll really be sticking some shots close when I receive my SM8 wedges!

Well, with the virus and back surgery. Kinda behind. Played my first round last week. Our course is under complete renovation and expect it to reopen maybe late 2020. Having lots of rain and difficult to get to range to work on game, which makes it difficult to get with my instructor. But life is good and will get even better. Cheers.

Well, our golf course was one of the last to open in a state (MA) that was last to open. That said, our 9 hole league got off to a slow start, but I'm 2-0 scoring 17 and 19 quotes in my first 2 matches. Happy about that.

My goals for the remaining 5 months of the year are to keep improving my game, and most importantly, I would like to be able to play as I used to with my friends and have some drinks with on the 19th.

To be honest, I do not see things going back to what they were. We better get used to this new 'normal' and appreciate this beautiful game.
