With this pandemic and many municipalities requiring masks being be worn in most establishments, now in the City of Charleston mandates they now have to be worn anywhere in public. $100 fine first offense, no questions asked by police and they are enforcing it. Charleston is a hot spot and they are doing something about it. So if you are going to play golf better have something on. I have been wearing mask but decided to go with fishing gaiters and really like them better. When the fall comes they will be awesome for the cool mornings. I purchased mine thru a fishing company on line and got five different colors to match my FJ shirts and Titleist hats. Think the gaiter works better when you are active. Just an opinion.

Mask for me. The cloth type is more preferred by me over the disposable, although I keep a couple of disposables in the vehicle and golf cart as a backup.

We are supposed to wear them indoors in public places like stores, but they are not required outdoors if social distancing. So, we don't have to wear them while playing. If we did have to wear them on the course, I'm not sure if I would play.

We will be providing tee gifts at a member/guest in early September and will probably wear a gaiter, less cumbersome and they do not fog my glasses as bad as the mask do. When do not need it just roll it down and wear it comfortably around my neck. Less worries about taking it off and on, as with a mask. Fortunately we will be working Charleston County, but not the city limits, but will wear face covering until this pandemic is over. Have enough other health issues to worry about. My plate is full.

Gaiter if I have to wear one. Prefer going without. Some stores require them but no gun stores do. In fact they won't let you in if you have one on.

Here in the desert, we don’t have to wear them on the course, just when checking in at the pro shop or cart area. i’ve been playing mostly as a single out in the course, so don’t really get close to anybody, which is nice.

Personally, I wish we weren't even having this discussion. However, in these times protection is required.. I wear a mask when going into stores and the clubhouses of various courses I play. When cooler/colder weather sets in, probably be using a gaiter when I'm out.

I've gone with the gaiter myself. Much easier to use. If you don't need it just pull it down. I do agree it gets pretty warm if worn for an extended period. I've told people when I have to wear it at work it's like wearing a scarf. But if it makes others more comfortable I'll put up with it. Besides, It'll be September in a week.

I'm fine with either, but I'd prefer a mask. I also read something that gaiters aren't that effective and could be worse than wearing nothing.

I ordered the UA Sports Mask and have been happy so far. It easy to breath and keep the inside of the mask cool which has been my biggest problem with anything else.

I wear the complimentary Green Bay Packer mask I received in the mail. Works well and is easily cleaned.

I fish tournaments with a Gaiter but wear a mask when entering stores & the clubhouse. We are not required to wear one on the course in Wichita and outer courses in neighboring towns. I prefer the mask for Covid 19 related things.

For now, I go with a mask, but, when the weather becomes cooler, I will try one of my "Turtle Fur" neck gaiters (double layer polar fleece type material - I use to wear for skiing).
  18. Neither one. However, the gaiter is more convenient.
