Every morning I get Golfworld/Golf Digest in my inbox. This morning the headline article was 120,000 counterfeit clubs seized by agents, the largest counterfeit seizure in history. Virtually no company was spared. Phonies of Titleist, Cally, png, PXG and TM among the copied brands. These imposter clubs were headed to online dealers. Once again, it cannot be stressed enough. BUY YOUR GOLF EQUIPMENT FROM AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. It's price vs. peace of mind.

Buyer beware, I think Ebay is the worst, especially when it comes to Scotty Cameron putters and swag!

Good information. Yet some many buy on line to save a few dollars.... with respect.

A lot fakes out there, I few years back I was practicing at the range, and a high school player a few bays down could not understand why he was not able to hit his new driver straight, as it had the same shaft s as the old driver, for what I remenber he had gotten a hand me down TM R9 as a started and was just got a brand new SLDR driver, the head pro went to take a look and upon checking his "club" which had been purchased for a bargain online, determined that it was a fake, the pro compared to a real club that was at the pro shop, and determined that the writting on the club was a little off, as the font was not the same, the shaft "bent" way too far compared to the shaft of the real club, the weights and screws did not look right compared to the other club.
I felt bad for the kid, as his parents tried to save some money with purchasing this bargain driver, I think something like half of the retail cost of the driver at the store.
Unfortunatelly that was not a time of my life that I could have chipped in and got that young man a new driver.
I feel bad about it to this day.
The lesson is, if it seems to be too good to be true, it is probably not tue.

  7. It is ironic you are selective in posting rick shields. Did you see the reviews by the golf addict? He is playing fakes, why didn’t you list his video?

It's easy to say "I'll just buy the lowest priced" whatever piece of equipment you may be shopping for.
Buyer beware!!! Cheapest isn't always best and may not even be an authentic product.
  9. I saw a very fascinating video the other day that showcased a fake Titleist TS two driver versus the real deal from a retailer. The fake broke first swing in the weight inside rattled causing a shot dispersion left and right with only one ball hitting the fairway on average 35 yards behind the real deal which had the fairway seven out of 10 times. Real deal is always better and worth the money but look who I’m telling it to!

If you ever happen to come across fake clubs listed online, contact keepgolfreal.com and provide them with the information of the site and seller. They will appreciate it, and it will help ease the saturation of the fake market on ebay, aliexpress, and other various sites.
