    I was on vacation this past week and went with the family to Marfield/Duxbury Ma area to get sun beach and golf. I took my daughter, wife l, and father to play 9 hole round at a Plymouth executive course called Squirrel Run. It was our 1st 3 generation round so we showed early and excited. As I pulled in a self proclaimed 82 year old woman came up to me and proudly told me a friend in her foursome got a hole in one. I asked what hole and she began to tell me that this friend got a hole in one last mont too, and the month before! Three holes in one, in 3 months! I never heard of this before and thought it worth sharing this odd story of luck and skill. Hope she gets September down too to make 4!

    I agree. The better you are and the more often you play sure helps the odds but the Golf Gods have strange timing on HOI's. I went 30+ years without one and got my three in a 2 year span. Now I am back on a 2 year drought and would not be surprised if #four never happens. That's okay too. I was always wanting that first one. Everything else is gravy.

    Nope not me unfortunately...not the best forum to brag in my style anyway if it ever happens to me. Believe me, you’ll hear me scream from the course where you stand if I ever ace!

    That's a great story. I am still waiting for my first hole in 1 :S

    By the way, did you ask if she played a Titleist golf ball?

    Lol no I didn’t...was so taken back by the story and she was so happy to tell it that I just tried to get out of the way for her to tell it (I feel like that’s what Feherty would’ve done)

    That is amazing! In the last week we’ve had 5 at my course. The first one was day 2 of our member-guest and unfortunately it was against us on the 3rd hole of our first match. A few years back we had back to back holes in one on consecutive swings that halved a hole in another flight. I didn’t witness this happening, but heard the roar and ensuing fireworks echo through the course.
