  1. Ball washers. This ball is a brand new velocity golf ball after one round of 18.

Look at the state of it:

I wet my towel and use that to clean my clubs and ball. But I agree, I miss using the ball washers on the course.

Lol it seems silly to say bud, but you can get your towel wet at the beginning of the round or maybe from a stream the runs through the course and you'll be able to shine that velocity up real nice!

Having a towel on your bag and carrying a bottle of water is a simple solution for cleaning your ball.

Yep, wet towel and to Barry's point, having a water bottle really helps me as the dry air in San Diego usually has my wet towel completely dry by about 6 holes. I used to re-wet it at the water stops but those are gone now and our ponds have the green slime going on so the water bottle keeps me and my towel hydrated.

I typically have been briong a large towel to the course with one half wet to clean clubs and balls and the other half dry. It's worked out pretty well for the last few months.

A wet towel is your friend ... some might say I'm very anal about a clean golf ball and clubs, and I can't argue.

I never use ball washers (ever consider how infrequently that water is changed), but my clubs and ball are always sparkling!

  8. The wet towel is definitely my new favorite accessory on the course this year. Great shot and even better point made.

Think everyone has a good solution that most on here use. Give it a try. With respect.

Like many said, a wet towel is what has been working for me too.

Sounds like I'm one of the few where they've returned ball washers to the course.

I'm a bit over the top when it comes to this, I carry two towels and both are 1/2 wet. One I keep across my bag to clean my clubs and the other stays on my putter that I take to the green to clean my ball before I putt. Just my process.

Never leave the first tee without a wet towel. Have to keep clubs and the ball clean. Do wish there still were ball washers on the course.

I think wet towels win the vote over ball washers!

Towel and a water bottle do the job for me.

I'm really starting to miss socialising with friends/fellow golfers on the 19th hole. As much as I love playing golf, I think the mental wellbeing rather than the physical wellbeing is at stake here.

I'm spoiled with a club/ball washer on my cart. Before that, I was a wet towel guy.
  18. I'm going to try the half and half next time I hit the course thanks guys

Just recently picked up 2 green go microfiber pocket golf ball washer / cleaner. Cost $13.79 total on ebay. This thing works great. Stays wet for whole round. I keep mine in pocket. My pocket stays dry. Find I use it most times on green after marking ball and fixing ball mark.

Small spray bottle with H2O, Frogger brush and waffle towel. What more does one need?

I wet a "magic eraser " and keep it in a zip lock bag for cleaning on the course. My towel stays dry to dry them off.
