Well, he better step it up as Dustin and Rahm are just dropping bombs and putting on a clinic!

Personally, I think if there were more great putters out there, there would be a lot of different winners. All of the pros are great ball strikers, but it is the elite who are the great putters and the best in the world. JT will return. Not everyone can make 66 foot putt to win a tournament. Some luck is involved and luck is defined as when preparation meets opportunity........a great golfers can go thru a funk.....right now John and DJ seem to be hot.....

JT's short game is solid. I am confident he will win on Sunday :)

The average stroke per round difference in the pros from the top to the bottom can be as little as one stroke. The tour average is around 29 per round. Agree that JT has a solid short game, one of the best on tour. The greens they are playing on this week are super fast, way above average, running at 13. Normal is around 11. You have to hit the ball dead center this week. Always pull for JT and the brand ambassadors, but cannot go without rooting for our home town boy, DJ who is from Columbia and played at Coastal Carolina. Can't wait to see if the gnats are skating on the greens tomorrow. They get faster as the tournament winds down. Cheers.....
  7. I think everyone has their days , It looks like DJ will pull this one off.

Although JT putted better on the weekend, DJ was playing at another level.

Having said that, JT is one of the players who is more than likely to win the US Open or as weird as it sounds, the 'first' major of the year/season :)

Well JT just got the "Player of the Year" award so not a bad way to end his season without winning the Tour Championship. Wondering if Webb Simpson made the right decision to take off and rest the week before. Seemed to have killed his momentum. Still a great year for both these two Titleist guys.

JT earned his $4.5 million tying for second place. DJ is on the midnight train to Georgia. It is amazing what you can do my moving just a bit closer to the ball.....congratulations to Dustin......I see that the putter he used is offered on the the Scotty Cameron site with a limited number of 2020 for sale......

IMO - If they utilized the old format DJ finished 3rd with JT in strokes this week after Schauffele (1st) and Scheffler (2nd). the beginning strokes prior to tournament I do not think is a good idea.

Player of the year! Not to bad of a season by JT! still a few big events left in this wild season to make some history.

What is the difference between 'PGA Player of the Year' versus 'PGA Tour Player of the Year'?

Last year, Brooks was awarded the former and Rory was awarded the latter.

Voters... PGA of America (club pros) vote for one and PGA Tour members vote for the other.
