  1. Hi TT: I worked at a club in the bag room and shop as a teen. After the last cart came in we played a lot of one club trying to beat the darkness, only stopping when we hit a shot and couldn't find it! There was always big money on the line too, at least 2 bucks a man. Anyone else have any one club memories? I usually carried a 5 iron, what did you use?

Never played one club matches. I like going out in the morning. Sound interesting.

My folks had a home on a golf course in Hilton Head. I would love to take a pitching wedge out on a par five with a beer and try to par it in the evenings. Don’t think I ever did...
  5. Always like the idea of trying it but never had the chance.

This sounds like an event to suggest to the club pro. "The Roy McAvoy Memorial". Prize - a tin cup. Of course, the Beveridge cart would need to be out in full force.

If it wasn't for greenside bunkers, I'd use a 23 degree hybrid. When I forget to put the putter back in the bag, I've used that as my putter. Next choice - 7 iron.
