Better news today, from my PT, she told me I could go to the range but to keep the practice session under an hour. Worked on my PW, 9, 8, and 7 iron and hit my driver a few times. Ended with my sand wedge. Felt so good. NO pain. Really surprised myself. Had to slow myself down at first, has been a long time. Forgot my dang rangefinder and had to ask the guy next to me for a couple of measurements. Took it from there. My goal, at my age, 74, first day out was 125 with my 9 iron and I attained that. As I get stronger, the numbers will come. Accuracy much better than I would have expected. She is working on some new exercises to get me ready to get me back on the course which appears could be by the end of the month. Need to see my swing coach as soon as he is available to get my tempo right and a few pointers on alignment. Thanks to everyone for all the positive reinforcement. It has helped. That is what Team Titleist is......

Met with my instructor today. Very good workout. Got my aim and grip worked out before he left town. Said distance will come with the minor changes. Worked a lot on W and 9 iron today. Hit a few 7, hybrid, driver and sand wedge..... pleased....... Start dry needles at PT next week. Needles??????????? All part of getting back on the course...... Whatever!!!!!!!!!! it takes...... Now that I know what I need to work on, my range time will not be wasted......have an appointment to see him when he gets back.......getting ready to get fitted for the TSI driver when available in my area........

Passed my flexibility test at PT yesterday and was given the green light to return to playing golf, not just putting and going to the range. Very excited. Am heading to the range today and to my instructor tomorrow. My wife has surgery on her wrist Thursday so I will playing nurse thru the weekend. Friday is my last day of PT and I graduate. Plan on getting a round of two next week, depending on how my wife progresses. The waiting is over and walking thru the neighborhood again. Did a mile Saturday and Sunday. Not ready to walk 18 holes, my pulmonary issues are holding me back on that issue. Legs are fine. Thanks for all the good wishes and support for my fellow TT members. It has helped get me thru. CZ =)

Have been playing sparingly and seeing the results of being off for so long. Scoring at about 33%. Making about 6 pars per round, 6 bogies and 6 trash.......just need more time between the rain and going into the hospital tomorrow for surgery. During all the going on my urologist found kidney stones and during the second Cat Scan he found one and was not sure about the second. So tomorrow at high noon I get to take a good long nap and he gets to blast them and get rid of those painful little kritters. Also get rid of the pain in my lower back side. Will have to take it easy for a couple of days. No worries, just part of the aging process. Called my boss and blamed it on him, he has a history of kidney stones, and never had a problem until I started working with him....ha..ha..ha.. Back to the course next week......and of course Thanksgiving......cheers....
