The PGA Merchandise Show going virtual in 2021

    Got the word yesterday from my boss that The PGA Merchandise Show going virtual in 2021. Sure there was a lot of reasoning behind this decision. A lot of products to be brought in from all over the world and the masses that come to Orlando for the show. I am sure that there are few on this site that have the dates on their calendar, as I do. My teaching pro and I were planning on going and planned on playing one of the wonderful courses in the area. Well there is always 2022. FYI.

    Wow, I look forward to working from home and watching the golf channels coverage on this every year....looks like that may be different. Appreciate the insight and heads up.

    I'm sure there are many conventions that will need to reassess how they will organize. CES in Las Vegas is traditionally held in January and I don't see that happening, at least the way they did it in past years. I know the PGA Merchandise Show is for vendors and manufacturers so hopefully they're not hit too hard with the virtual gathering format.

    **** And those of us who are lucky enough to hitch a ride with our pro and it is one heck of an experience to attend......demo day is a lot of fun!!!!!!!!
