I live in NYC and as such, going to get access to a simulator for the winter. What are some good drills and practice programs to get the most out of my time. Really just trying to build consistency on aim and distance, but don’t want to just hit into a screen without a plan to drive improvements.

    Looking forward to your insights!

  2. Ohio here, used to simulator season lol. I really only work on ball striking during sim season. I find, unless you are in a REALLY nice simulator, that aim, shot shaping, and even distance are not very accurate. Chipping and putting is more like a video game. So ball striking, and ball speed were two ways that I measured performance and then verified once I was able to get on the range with my launch monitor.

Sim season coming up here in the north east US! I like to just use it as a time to make some swings, hang with the crew and get that golf feeling. Its all we can do

I try and slow down my swing and work on mechanics. I try and pick a couple of drills found on the instruction part of this website and work on them for a couple weeks each.
