Normally took a weeks vacation during masters week

My buddies back home and I used to play a par 3 course the Wednesday during Masters week. Now that we’ve grown up and moved to different parts of the country, we plan to get together on PGA 2k21 to play a Par 3 course Wednesday and keep the tradition alive as best we can.

Morning golf followed by a huge foosball tournament with the boys.

Sadly, applying for the lottery tickets every year with the disappointment of rejection each summer. Maybe 2022 will be the year, It is the only golfing event I enter into betting pools. This might be the year I don't put PM in my top tier. the 32 y.o. Tiger showed up last year. Will it be that one or the 57 y.o version this year?

Normally glued to online/tv coverage Thursday and Friday. Then play Saturday and Sunday morning to finish just in time for relaxing and watching Master's coverage the rest of the day. But with this year, it looks like I'll have to also add in college football to that viewing on Saturday!

Golf in the morning, final round in the afternoon. It will be a bit different this year for sure. This is one of two places, Pebble the other, my wife will watch with me due to the scenery.

Generally, I keep the live stream on Thursday and Friday when I'm at work. This year, it will just be the TV next to me in my room I'm working from. Over the weekend, I try to watch as much as possible. I have a morning tee time on Saturday, then I'll watch. Sunday will be weird this year with football.

Can't wait for next April, after many, many years of trying through the lottery I was able to get Monday practice round tickets.

Besides being glued to the television from Thursday on, on Sunday morning the club has an event called PICK A PRO , you draw a pros name and his score and your net score are added together , the winner wins a red blazer(jacket) and a portion of the prize fund

My neighbor has every year rents a tent and bbq station for his backyard and has a 3 day Masters party. I typically save a personal day or two from work specifically for these. Everyone dresses in their best golf attire and eat, watch, and brag about our best scores of the year...a great way to catch up with old friends and new.

When the telecast begins on CBS on Saturday and Sunday, do not call, text or email me until the last putt drops.

TV and nachos are my bestfriends during Masters

Since the lottery began back in in 1995, I set back and watch the Masters on TV. Have lots of memories from going to Augusta, which is only three hours from Charleston. We would drive up either on Monday or Tuesday and pay our $10.50 and watch the practice rounds. Have been lucky a couple of times since then and got to see a couple of practice rounds, and a couple of competitive rounds. Have my share of memories. No other tournament like the Masters.

Turn on every TV in the house (6) so I don’t miss any action if moving around the house, which doesn’t happen much.
Then, if I can get my kids to watch telling them everything I remember about each hole, as I was lucky enough to go twice about 10 years ago.
I’m pretty sure they tune me out, as my wife has. LOL!

I was fortunate enough to work the Masters in 1986 (Jacks back nine charge on Sunday!) and 1987 as a gallery guard. In 1987, Larry Mize won the Masters chipping in on the first playoff hole to beat Greg Norman. Before the tournament started, he agreed to come on Monday after the Masters to Ft Gordon in Augusta where I was stationed in the army to play a best ball tournament with 18 different foursomes. Larry did this because he is from Augusta. I remember all of us waiting for him and saying"heck, he just won the masters. he'll never show". Just then Larry showed up!! I got pictures with Larry Mize on our hole and his autograph on a masters scorecard. Every year I pull out these mementos and reminisce.
That said a lot about Larry Mize and his character.

New tradition, but right after my daughter was born in April 2019, I would sit on the porch, rock with her and watch the Masters together. I'm going to chalk it up to the smooth tones of Jim Nantz but she loved just sitting outside and watching those rounds as a newborn. Obviously we didn't get to do that in April 2020 but the plan is to do it this November and continue our new tradition together.

need to have some purple drink (grape juice and ginger ale mix) and take off work. Luckily I am working from home now with COVID so its much easier to watch!

I purchase two of the annual Masters Journal magazines while vacationing in Florida prior to the spring masters play. I provide a copy for a dear and older friend of mine (77 years old) for his birthday early in April.
This good friend continues to play a thoughtful and methodic game. He once played at a high level as an young amateur and loved golf in the southern USA.
We use the "Journal" as a guide for the week while watching as much as possible during the live coverage. In the "Journal" he enjoys the stories of the older professional golfers of his era as do I.
Hoping to surprise him this year with a "Journal" that I ordered for delivery this week, a belated "happy birthday" for my friend Bill.
