Yep, Dec 2019 - Dec 2020... Medical issues....

Had a stretch from the late 90's to around 2005 where I was so busy at work that I was only able to get out maybe once a month. Given that I was in NY at the time, that meant no golf at all from Nov-April. Now that I've been retired since 2010 and living in FL, I've made up for that loss in spades.

Never a few years. I'm in the middle of an unwelcome layoff due to surgeries and complications, but, it's only been seven months at this point. Seems much longer and anxious to get back on the course. Left shoulder has not responded after surgery as I had hoped and still pain with a golf swing. I have purchased a couple TS1 drivers and T400 irons hoping the lighter weight and softer shafts will allow me to play with limited discomfort. Leaving on 1/13 for St. George, Utah. Will be there through February and going to try and play to test the waters. I hope you're enjoying the return.

August of 2016 until June of 2020 I didn't touch a club. Took about a month to get feel back... still working out some kinks, but pretty close to where I left off 4 years ago and back to playing tournament golf and being pretty competitive.

Played on my high school team for 3 years and then for some reason put the sticks down during college years. Having too much fun with intramural sports, parties, etc...oh yeah, classes too.

Due to health issues, between OCT 2019 until June 2020, it was a painful few months

Absolutely, I took off 4 years. Started playing at the age of 4 and by my mid-late 30s (and HC stuck at 7) I decided to focus on other hobbies that could fit better with the kids schedules (I could never get my daughters into golf as hard as I tried).

Been back into it for the last 7 years or so and love having the bug back. I look forward to every round I play and I played 82 rounds last year (excluding tournaments that didn't make it into GHIN).
