My daughter used to play with me - she enjoyed the game and was quite good.
When she got a bit older, her friends played tennis so she stopped golf and joined them...
I hate tennis!!

Your daughters peer group took over. She did not want to feel left out so she took to the courts. It happens to all kids at some point.

My son was about 10 years old when I took him out to a small par 3 golf course longest hole 137 yards shortest 37 yards.we had some great times..when he got older he went to work at a golf course close to his home in the cart barn worked there until he left for the Air Force...But started playing with granddaughter when she was 12 until she turned 16 we stopped playing due to my surgery but she has kept playing I sure due miss playing with both of them..

I remember playing with my Dad when I was young. As I had kids I introduced them all to golf. I have just started playing with my 8 year old granddaughter and my twin 6 year old grandson and granddaughter. It's a blast and great to see them enjoying this great game.
