On a mission to break into the 70s this year. Few bad putts and a bad temper set me back but getting closer. It's such a good feeling to see lessons pay off and be able to enjoy the game again (kinda). Being fit for T300s was a good addition as well, but hope you guys are getting close to your golf goals.

I have the same goal, to break 80 this year. Got my first lesson scheduled for this Saturday, itll be my first since my Dad stopped giving lessons and running the jr clinic when I was in jr high.

If I can get in to the 70s and a single digit handicap I think Im going to reward myself with a new set of the 620MBs, maybe, we shall see. lol

So close. Just keep the last 6 inches from interfering with your game (the space between the ears).

Taking my swing in for a full overhaul while living with snow cover until some time in March. So far the early tweaks are giving some great results with the T400's I got later last year. Will just have to be patient to see what happens outdoors. Want to get into the mid-lower 80's once the thaw is done.

Sticking to my new years resolution. Not to make any and to enjoy every day one day at a time and every round of golf one round at a time. After last year, happy to be playing again. Congratulations.

I've been there looks like many on here on seeking to break 80 this year! Best of luck to everyone
  6. I share the 'break 80' goal, but extended to 'break 80 on a top course. I have scored a 79 once this year and a couple of times over the years at a local muni. Last year it was at a course where I played the 6400 yard tees with a rating/slope of 70.7/120. My future goal is to score in the 70's on something like Poppy Hills - 3-Poppy tees-6400 yards 71.2/135.

I did reach a goal - sort of - this past year to improve my ball striking. I have been a 'vacation golfer' for years - playing 15-20 rounds, but mostly on vacation and around holidays. This year I went to the range more purposeful (camera in hand) and have played 30+ rounds and at least 3 times per month. Swing feels better, but still work to be done.
  7. Calvin, that day will come soon. Keep it up!
