Golf courses are closed in some countries in Europe so there are a lot of people anxious to get out on the course.

Right there with you Dwayne, although I've been lucky enough to get out once a week in January. We've had a couple warmish days each week, usually mid week. I usually tee off when it's in the high 30s - low 40s, but finish with the temp in the low 50s.

Good for you Dwayne. I am a bit jealous here in NY, but, I did manage to strike a few into the net yesterday. Play well!

Swing smooth, don't try to kill the ball. Stretch, warm up properly. Don't just run from the car to the first tee. Winter rules apply so get yourself a nice lie. Have fun and don't worry about your score! Just hit some good shots and be glad you're getting a chance to play in the most difficult month of the year (weather-wise).

Awesome. We teed off this morning at 8 am and it was 50* and when we made the turn from hole 11 into number 12 and we were hitting into the winds that come in off the river, the temp dropped, it was overcast and we played into at least two club winds. Yeah, it did affect the game. I can play in cold, rain, in most conditions, EXCEPT winds. Just take me out of my rhythm. These winds cannot seem to make up their mind, twirling, knock down, inconsistent and just ugly. Conditions were great thru the first seven holes this morning and I was even par. Played in windy conditions on twelve holes and I definitely paid the price. Cannot wait til spring in the lowcountry of SC. At least we are getting to play in late January.......
