Any info in this year’s event? Is one being planned? In previous years, it has been announced and booked.

I'd be keeping a closer eye on TT the next 1-2 weeks...

Hello Allan, do you have an approximate date for the announcement?

The events are generally limited to 72-80 participants. When and where is unknown until announced with the registration. The opportunity, however fleeting, is available to anyone. If you have to negotiate with a spouse or to get buddies to make it a trip, do so in the next couple of weeks. Once announced, the slots fill quickly.

The TT Invitational is open to anyone who wants to sign up. The key is signing up before it's all booked.

I am so looking forward to this after having to withdraw from the Bandon trip due to COVID and border restrictions. Come on herd-immunity!

Can't wait. Any rumors on location? Is it time to get back to FL?

Am anxiously awaiting this year. Did not make the last two due to medical issues and walking only restrictions at the venues. Hoping this event will allow carts to those who have issues.
  14. Military
Hoping Pinehurst or the Mid Pines/Pin Needles combo. Greenbrier be nice also

I think this is the year I'm going to go (if it is on the east coast). That depends if I can get on line quickly enough to get signed up.

Anyone else want to guess? My first guess is Streamsong in FL.

Pinehurst, Kiawah, TPC Sawgrass, Whistling Straits, and Bandon have been TT Invitationals. There have been events at Pine Needles and Sand Valley.

The site needs to be at least semi-public, preferably a resort with accommodations to hold an event, and at least 2 golf courses.

I was going to go with Cabot Links but the travel restrictions to Canada may make that risky.

Cabot is the Bandon of the East Coast... That would be epic, but Im thinking Florida, but thats a hotspot for the virus!

Yeah, Cabot Links would be great. I have a week long reservation made for July but have little hope of making the trip because of travel restrictions. Not sure the hotel there would have enough rooms for a TT big event.

Have played there and they would be able to accommodate a TT invitational. I played there with a group by invitation in the fall before the Cliffs officially opened to the public. There was not a lot to do but play golf and really enjoyed the experience. A gret get away. Two courses, a pub and a restaurant. We found a great deli outside the gates. Is it truly a golf destination which takes a three hour drive from Halifax. It is a beautiful golf destination with two beautiful golf courses. The Cliffs course is worth the trip. Titleist was there filming a commercial as we were finishing up on number 18.

Streamsong to Tampa airport transportation is $150 - $200 each way, if we fly. I was hoping for NE maybe and hoping to see Titleist/FJ HQ but do not know that they would be open then. Hilton Head would be nice as previously discussed. Nice courses in Orlando. I am sure it will be something nice, as usual, and be good to see everyone after missing the last two. Got a letter from my doctor today to give to resort if I need it to use a cart on walking preferred courses. No real guesses, leave it to the professionals who always do such a great job planning these events. TT rocks.....

I'd say Pebble Beach (CA), Shadow Creek (Las Vegas), Bethpage (NY), Erin Hills (WIS) are among the top golf courses we haven't had a TTI, maybe it will be in one of those locations.
Wherever they will take us, I'm all in!!!

I did the Erin Hills and Sand Valley side trips before and after the TTI event at Kohler a couple of years ago. If you don't mind driving a few hours between resorts, it's definitely a doable trip to setup.

Selfishly I would love to see it held in the Mid-West or East Coast this year, since I'm in Ohio lol. Buuuuut, I'm pretty sure if it is being held at Pebble Beach then a trip to the West Coast might be what the doctor ordered.

East Coast TTI would be great! Being on LI Bethpage would be great (5 Courses) plus there is great public courses as well...

October would be a fantastic time of the year to visit the Monterey area...no fog, very low chance of rain and the courses will be in tip top shape.

If I remember this event runs a lil pricey?
Anyone have info from past events?

You're probably looking at the $1500 to $2000 range for lodging and golf (double occupancy). The event usually includes 2 rounds of golf (bucket list type of courses) and some meals are included. What may be a big draw for Team Titleist members is the all the TT swag that's given out to all participants. IMO, the combination of the camaraderie and courses makes a Team Titleist Invitational a must-do event. Oh yes, I forgot to mention that the event is open to all skill levels.
