Been without power for a day now, I'm one of those people from Texas not used to the snow and cold. Bought a FJ Hydrolite Rain jacket and pants last week, little did I know id be using them in the snow to try and hunt down a warm cup of coffee yesterday, but hey they kept me warm and dry.

You generally don't associate rain gear with snow since most golfers don't play golf when the course is covered in snow. It's good to know our rain gear can serve a dual purpose.

I have the same rain suit and I love mine. My daughter lives in Houston and with those chill factors dipping below 0, I hope you had on some layers under that rain suit. Those hydrolite rain suits are built for warmer weather, but will keep you comfortable in all weather conditions. I also have the hydroknit which is also waterproof but has a wearability of a midlayer and a bit warmer. If it is real cold I bring out the big dog, my ZR rain suit, which I purchased before I started loading up my closet with FJ products. The ZR is also 100% waterproof and Gore-tex material, which I wear a FJ merino wool lined sweater underneath. No worries. Whatever you choose, make sure it is a quality product to ensure best results. You made a great purchase.

Living on Long Island and getting dumped on with snow, though not as tragic as Texas, I too have used my hydro lite FJ pants to use my snowblower this past couple weeks!

Too funny, I did the exact same thing for a couple days down here in Houston. I wear the FJ rain gear a lot in the winter just to keep the wind off me.
