Well in 3 weeks now, I’ll be moving back home to the east coast to Virginia Beach. It’s been a bit of a tough year out here obviously with the pandemic and affecting my mental health a good amount too where it’s made me lose interest in the game for a decent amount of time. Because of all the things going on it’s put a hold on basics the main reason i wanted to move out here to begin with. I’m trying to get back into the desire to play so i can make a stop in Missoura to play that course that that Tiger guy just designed. But for now take care of yourself and one another. Hopefully if there’ll be any TT events in the Carolinas or nearby I’ll be able to participate in.

Best of luck and hang in there. I remember Virginia Beach well from the days when I was stationed aboard the USS John F. Kennedy, which was homeported in Norfolk, many, many years ago.

Don't be too hard on yourself Amanda. We're all with you! The pandemic has affected all of us in one way or another.I have a grandchild (#5) born 2 weeks ago, that I have yet to meet because of COVID.I'm thankful for technology, FaceTime in particular, that allows me to "almost" be there with him.I'm sorry you have to move back east, and although I only know you through your posts, I'm certain once you nail a drive, flush an iron or drain a putt, your desire for the game will return as though it never left you.

I play my best golf focusing on the shot that lay before me,and nothing else.

    Take one day at time.....

    All the best.

Be safe and most of all do what you feel is best. 2020 has been a year to remember and forced many to reestablish their priorities in life. Wishing you the very best in your endeavor.

Just keep singing the old tune Homeward Bound. Being a Navy Vet I remember V Beach well. Good luck for the future. Lots of courses east coast to explore.

    Amanda,
Want to wish you all of the best. On your trip back East I hope you get to stop in Big Cedar Lodge in Missouri to play those courses. Hopefully it will serve as an inspiration for you to get back into this wonderful sport called golf!!
    Stay Safe!!

All I can say is golf helped me BIG time last year when the pandemic hit. Working from home and trying to help my boys deal with home school was tough. Golf was the one thing that kinda relaxed me whether it was hitting balls in the garage or making my own little course in my backyard and chipping around. And once the courses opened up, it was one of those years I didn't care what I shot, just being on the course was the only sense of reality I had going and it was nice to have.

I sure hope you find that love again and wish you all the best with your move back east. Be safe and take care, Cheers.

Sorry to hear about the difficulty you are are experiencing. Sometimes a change in scenery is great way to reset and start fresh. Good luck on the move and rest assured golf will still be there when you're ready to get out and play. Of course, participating in the Team Titleist forum is a good distraction too. Be safe and be well.

It's been a tough year for all of us. Golf has been my one point of sanity as really the only outlet I've had this year. I am so ready to get back out after a particularly hard winter. I've missed my children and grandchildren living on the coasts, so at least Zoom has kept us in contact.

Hope the kinship of being closer to friends and family helps with the stress. Living alone is hard enough, living alone with no way to get out in the world is really hard.

One son got married in Va. Beach. Played a round at Red Wing with my sons while there. Like the Google description - public course with water hazards and beer.

This is a trying time in our world and all we can do is our best to stay healthy(physically and mentally). Sounds like you have a plan to get back on track. Hopefully this will be over shortly. Be safe and good luck , keep us up to date on how it's going.

Me thinks..........and hopes, that as soon as you hit that first shot on the course, the golf "bug" will sting you and you'll be back with your old desire. All the best. I know if it weren't for golf and riding the Harley last year I'd have gone Cuckoo and been a clock tower sniper or something. Patiently (no not really) waiting for the good weather to re-appear here in the Northeast to get back. Can only clean the clubs so many times. Good luck and safe travel
