I had a problem last night but it was with my ISP's network - not with address, etc. Disappointing. Apparently it was a cut / damaged cable somewhere down the street.

Try installing Chrome on the iPad and see if that works for you
It could be Java settings or some security but Chrome is fairly flexible and should be able to work with any non-standard site settings
If you are accessing Zoom through the browser, try installing the app and see if that works for you

Zoom meeting invites generally come with a link but also a meeting number and passcode - Try the link in the browser and the number/passcode in the app, if possible
