Sure. Those of us that have hosted a regional event find a location and date that does not conflict with other events and coordinate back with a Titleist Staffer to ensure approval. The Staffer will sometimes even provide a few small Titleist items as a welcome gift for your participants. You will be required to do all the organizational work as Titleist focuses on their main events. You can post on the Travel section as an invitation for TT members to participate. Last year there was an event at Sand Valley. Was that a TT invitational event or a regionally hosted event? It sounded like a great event.

It was a Team Titleist staffer organized event NOT the TT Invitational. The TT Invitational is an annual event which I would lump as the main TT gathering of the year.

Bandon Dunes Resort, Bandon, Oregon was last year's Team Titleist Invitational.

It was neither. Titleist hosted it as a special smaller event, something they started doing occasionally the previous year. They did a short game event at Pinehurst with about 30 people and the same thing for the Sand Valley event. There have been smaller local events like ours in San Diego hosted in Texas, North Carolina, Orange County, etc. They also have planed an International event that has been delayed due to COVID.

Thanks Dale. Do you know if they will do Sand Valley or something in WI again this year? Or can I host a regional TT event? What would that mean?

Rob, probably will not be anything formal at Sand Valley this year so you would have to organize it as a local event. The main TTI has already been scheduled and announced and the Team Titleist International has been moved again to March 2022 at Casa de Campo. These occasional smaller events like the Short Game Outing at Pinehurst in 2019 and the Sand Valley 2020 were special events and may not be done the same way in the future.

Team Titleist event
