Well, Covid has gotten to the best of us. Golf is one of the safest activities with current rules in place, but a few months ago it was running rampant with a high counts all over.

I decided to hunker down for a while, my last outing on the course was December. I laid low maybe just a couple of trips to the driving range, swinging in the back yard, chipping, etc.. Not for my sake, but for my spouse and family. I've met people who got sick, lost family through this ordeal, and suffered just by being "locked" up. Finally, shots, fully vaccinated. I feel better, not fearing the unknown so much, a golf outing finally.

Well, in my bag are Titleist balls, a few TMs that were gifted to me, but I decided to play all Titleist, V1, V1x, an AMX, and also Velocities. Not new, haven't been out, but not out of the new sleeve. My group, I'm the youngest, at 67, others are just north of me just at 70. 2 of them played Callys, other friend Titleist.

Well, long story short, wind was blowing 15-20. I was able to out drive them mostly on every hole and stay in play most of the time. Lost 2 balls in lateral hazards, putting wasn't great, but I surprised myself, thought I'd be North of a hundred since being locked up. Nope, shot 92, not great, but just happy to be outdoors and just south of a hundred.

Thanks Titleist for giving me confidence and an itch to go out again soon. Have fun guys and gals........ Titleist rocks.......
