I was watching the PGA Championship for a while, but was kind of turned off because of the loud noise and comments that followed after the player"s swing. The completion of the last hole was unreal. Granted the accomplishment, but shouldn't us golf fans be more civil or respectful?

Maybe Covid had everyone locked/pent up and now are releasing emotions at sporting events, concerts, large gatherings. I still see it happening this week during the long weekend tournaments and can imagine how Waste Management will go.

Anyways, have a good safe Weekend, and remember Freedom is not free, many people have sacrifice life, limb, and health for our behalf. Thank You to those who have sacrificed so much for us.

Agree, think it was a bit over the top with the actions on number 18. The newspaper here is still stewing about the happening. Security lost the crowd and endangered the players. We had many more patrons here for the 2012 PGA Championship and the control seemed much better. Kinda reminded me of the old days with Armies' Army. Not a safe environment for the players. Bubbalouie and other crazy nonsense will always be around, with the exception of the Masters. Some just have to have their fifteen seconds of recognition of TV. Even with the beers being $16 at the PGA at Kiawah, I am sure there were a few that had way too many. We do need to show some self restraint, respect for ourselves, the players and hopefully remember that golf is a gentlemen's (and ladies) game. With respect....cz
