    Hey Everyone!

Think grips, like the one in the picture, would look good on my new T100s irons?

I might just install them prior to taking them out for the first time!

    Thoughts??

    Thanks...skip

The look of the grip doesn't matter to me as long as the feel of the grip fits my needs. Personally, I have been a Golf Pride MCC Midsize grip guy for many years, though, also use Z Grips on driver and 3W in regular size with extra wraps. Fortunately, the MCCs come in color designs that please my eye. Z-grips are pretty generic (black and white) so work aesthetically with virtually everything. Never really liked Tour Wraps. Too soft for my taste. But, to each his own.

Would it really make a difference if we all said no?
Grips are a personal choice and if they work for you then it's a good choice. Go for it!!!
For me, Winn Tac midsize blue not only works best, but makes my Titleist irons the envy of the country club.

For me, the way the grip looks is secondary to the feel of the grip. I have the same grip model on all my clubs (except the putter). I do use 2 different colors: wedges get a different color compared to all the others. I do this just to keep them organized and it helps differentiate them on the greens when I bring my putter and wedge.

I am with Doug. Love the Golf Pride MCC Plus4 grips and have only played Golf Pride grips for years. Lasting if taken care of and cleaned regularly. The midsize fit my old hands best. I have used the tour wraps in the past, but have found these to be more to my liking and last much longer. As always, it is about choices and how they feel and perform.

They look nice & if you like them then it is what you should put on your clubs.

The only time I am concerned about looks is when I think I need to make change my grips & I think about the colors of my grips, like Red, Grey or Blue, but I always play the MCC Plus 4 Standard size grips as they are comfortable in my hands & they last me longer than other grips as long as I keep them cleaned up.

But how they feel is what I always base my grips on..........

Only you can decide that... How do they feel in your hands?
  8. Hi Skip,
All about the feel. I have had Golf Pride on my clubs for over 50 years and don't see changing.

Feel vs looks?? Feel will always beat looks when talking about grips.

Looks like Golf Pride Tour Wrap? I love them, BUT....I agree with everyone else. It's not because they look good it's because I love the feel

It's all about feel & how they "sit" in your hands. Like those wrap grips, sit perfectly in your fingers (at least mine). I have small hands & they work well. My father & I played those all the time when I was younger.

But now I play the MCC+ grips or the MCC Align (especially in the woods) because they feel better. So it's all about personal preference. All GP grips are great!

I love the Tour Wrap 2G and have the white ones on all of my clubs. So tacky and soft and just feel amazing in my hand. I agree with the others, it’s not about looks it’s about feel.

I had a set of these grips at one time and they felt great they were very "grippy", if thats even a word!
