    Hey everyone been an amazing year of golf here in Oregon! 2022 is looking amazing as I might be stepping into the State Director position for the VGA. Never expected to pick up this game at the age of 35 but it’s been a blessing and I thank everyone here for following along on my journey. Well cheers! And stay safe!

    Going to Oregon in early 2022. Golf is one of those games where taking it up "later" in life is not at all a bad thing and can be good thing. As someone who took up golf in my early 20s (now a few decades removed from those times), I now see that I've lost some distance compared to those early years and it could be very frustrating for people. With the advancement of equipment technology and maintaining my physical fitness, distance loss is not a deal breaker.

    I could imagine if I started later in life, maybe I would not have noticed the distance loss ;-)
