I've hit balls when it's been in the 30's. The only thing that's hard is staying warm.

We play in a winter sweep league over here in Scotland, I’ve been out in some challenging conditions to say the least hahaha
-7 heavy frost for weeks, been one of the worst. It was funny but definitely not golf as we know it ️‍♂️

I'm not as dedicated as I once was, sub 45 and i'm hitting indoors. I have played multiple rounds back in the day in the low 30's and never had an issue that I know of.

Played golf Wednesday when it was 35*. Warmed up on the range. When I go to the range it is to work on my irons and hybrids, not so much on my driver. Need to work on the money shots. Fortunate that I am retired and get to play multiple times a week. Heavy rain and 25 mile per hour winds do slow me down a bit. =)

I usually play all winter long here at the Jersey Shore. But recent surgery stopped that this winter. We've teed off many times when it was in the 20s. And wind chill was less than that. Gotta do what ya gotta do.

40's for me. If I can't get to the range frequently I typically will spend the colder months chipping & putting instead of full swings on the range. We can have 50 degrees then 20's for a few weeks so I wait until we have more stable weather here in Kansas.

40 degrees is about my limit.

This time of year in ohio mid 40s will feel like mid 70s

Given the spped of collisions at standard temps, the equipment (balls, driver, fairway metals, hybrids, etc..) is not in danger at 30 degrees F. Having said that, If it's sunny, low winds and 40 degrees F, I'll practice.

Upper 30's. But be careful if you go to a driving range where it gets cold. My buddy cracked the face of his driver hitting balls at the driving range, that were probably frozen from being in an unheated area, and frozen like stones

I doubt you could cause damage to a clubface with cold temps unless it was seriously below freezing or the clubs had been sitting out in freezing temps for a long time, but I'm not a materials engineer so maybe I'm mistaken. One thing I have learned though, it's not worth grinding on practice when it's super cold, at that point in winter I'm just happy to get some swings in and watch a golf ball fly. About 40F and sunny is my limit, I'm a softy from the south.

Lowest I've hit in is 25, although I don't think I'll ever do that again
