Welcome to Major season, Team Titleist!

First up: The Chevron Championship - where the world’s best female golfers will look to make the leap into Poppie’s Pond one last time this week at Mission Hills.

We’ve been inside the ropes all week long with our LPGA ambassadors getting the inside scoop on strategy, equipment and all things Major preparation. Keep reading to hear from Team Titleist and check out what players will be gaming this week in Rancho Mirage on our Tour Section.

What’s it like to play Mission Hills’ iconic 18th with a Major title on the line? We caught up with 2017 ANA Inspiration Champion and Brand Ambassador So Yeon Ryu to get her take on the risk-reward opportunities that the final hole presents.

Fast fact: When So Yeon won in 2017, she not only birdied the 18th to force a sudden-death playoff, but also birdied 18 AGAIN in the first playoff hole to win.

Other past champions in the field trusting Titleist this week include ’21 champion Patty Tavatanakit (Pro V1x Golf Ball), World No. 1 and ’19 Champion Jin Young Ko (Pro V1 Golf Ball), ’18 Champion Pernilla Lindberg (Pro V1), ’16 Champion Lydia Ko (Pro V1x Golf Ball), and 2X (’15,’09) ANA Inspiration Champion Brittany Lincicome (Pro V1x Golf Ball).

That’s 6 of the last 7 champions trusting a Titleist golf ball to victory at Mission Hills.

Wishing the best of luck to all of Team Titleist as they look to make history this week at The Chevron Championship! Make sure you’re following our social channels for in-the-moment coverage on all things Team Titleist.

Great post, Emily! Really love the insights that So Yeon shared. I'm definitely going to steal her routine of mentally re-drawing the line over and over that you want your golf ball to fly on. Thanks!

Great post, Emily. I will miss Mission Hills, the memories of Dinah Shore and all that she did to promote the LPGA.

After reading Harvey Penick's my Little Red Book, It caused me to revisit my routine. The preponderance of my time was beating ball after ball and occasional putting. Mr. Penick's recommended short game practice and putting to begin improving your game. I have seen incremental improvement by working 100 yards in, chipping, chipping chipping and putting.
Give it a try and monitor your progress.

Not a bad showing for Team Titleist. I was really pulling for Jessica Korda down the stretch!
