I've been close to a hole in one a couple of times, but never close enough :(

If I stop thinking about it, it may just happen :)

I want to get my game back to where it was this time last year, before a health issue shattered it.
  3. I've been working hard on the practice green...

I looked over my previous roundfile/scorecard stats and noticed putting is where I had the most room for improvement.

After my first and only round of 2022 it appears I have completely lost my swing, so once again I'll need to put in range time & rounds to get back to where I left off last year. I broke 80 6 times last year towards the end of the season. I started off with a 99 this year.

So I want to continue lowering my handicap as I got down to a 13.5 last year from a 18.3

  5. Would be nice to lower my handicap, but my main goal is to not complain about the way I’m playing or course conditions and just be thankful for every opportunity that I get to play. Those opportunities are not unlimited.
  6. I am going to break 80 this summer

2022 off to a slow start with the cold spring in OH this year so tough getting the rounds in so far. Going to have to kick it in gear very soon!

More one putts here. I feel that my putting is the weakest part of my game. If I can putt better, some of the other goals will come with it

    Win a section event.

Had my shoulder replacement in November and dropped 29 pounds in March and April. New flexibility but lack some strength. Trying to make up for strength with speed. Swing is a work in progress. Oh yea, complete new setup of Titleist irons, woods and wedges to help!

Play more rounds and learn to shape more shoots.

My goal is to be more consistent in my game and lower my scores

Stronger, higher ball flight. I am swinging a weighted club in my office while on conference calls.

Definitely lower handicap, but at the risk of sounding stuck up, I want to be thought of as a ball-striker. Most of my buddies are obsessed with distance, but don't focus on distance control/working the ball. I'm getting much better at working the ball, and LOVE the feeling of being able to call a shot, and execute.
    Good luck to all!

My goal this year is to win the Idaho State Amateur Championship.

Fewer puts looks like the key, but in turn dependent upon good drive, good irons and/or short game, so no easy answers!!

Definitely a lot of good goals posted above and hope everyone achieves them. I simply want to play more golf and getting around to more courses in Africa. Need to take advantage of such a good opportunity
  18. Really like this post love the fact everyone has many different goals in the game of golf but everyone shares the same thought on enjoying it more.
