  1. I’m planning a bachelor party where the golf is the most important part of the trip. My initial thoughts are Pinehurst, Kiawah or Bandon. The majority of the group will be coming from the northeast so Bandon might be a bit too much. I’d love to get peoples ideas, thoughts or suggestions on this. Thanks everyone

Any one of the Dormie Network Properties .... Ballyhack (VA), Dormie Club (NC) & Hidden Creek (NJ). These are all on the east coast. They have 3 more .... TX, NB, IN.
These places are exceptional & know how to treat you right. The accommodations are perfect for a bachelor party if it's only golf you are after. After I played Ballyhack, there really isn't anywhere else I would go for golf with a group of guys. These places are amazing & you won't be disappointed.

I'm fortunate enough to have visited 2 of the 3 resorts you mentioned, Bandon and Pinehurst. I wanted to add another resort to your mix since many of you will be departing from the North East; have you considered Sand Valley in Wisconsin?

Between Bandon and Pinehurst, IMO, Bandon would be my choice for a golf focused bachelor outing. My guess is you will be staying on property for a weekend or 3 days, so having 5 courses on property will be plenty. Like Pinehurst, Bandon has a par 3 course (technically 2, if you count Shorty's). The Cradle at Pinehurst is nice but The Preserve at Bandon is better, IMO. Both resorts have putting courses. I would put the lodging and food service on the same level at both resorts.

You won't go wrong with either resort. Have fun!

Might consider Cabot Links/Cliffs in Nova Scotia. Definitely a a golf destination. They have two 18 hole courses plus a par three fun course. Away city lights and life. A beautiful area and the courses are great. Have played there and is definitely worth the trip. Fly into Halifax and a three hour drive. Do not know where your live in the NE might be drivable.

Kiawah is also a great place. There is the Ocean course, Turtle, Osprey, Cougar on property. The Sanctuary is an awesome hotel. Never have to leave the Island. Fly into Charleston International Airport then a 45 minute driver to the resort. Nice beach area.

The time of year and timeline you have to plan would be helpful too. Note that many destination golf resorts are booked over a year out, so your options might be limited if you are looking to book for 2022 or early 2023.

The Greenbrier Resort is on the east coast and an option.

The RTJ Trail in Alabama is good too and on the cost effective side too.

If cost is not a concern then you can go wrong with Pinehurst or Sea Pines (Hilton Head) that are on the east coast.

Whatever you do, better get on it.. Bandon is at least a year out, and Pinehurst books up pretty fast as well!

I haven't gone to brandon, but I've heard prom people who are going/went that you have to book and plan that trip years in advance. I dont know if thats in the cards for you. Pinehurst area sounds like a blast though!!
