After thinking about this for a long time I've decided to give up golf. Mentally and physically I'm still in great shape for my age but I've just lost interest. Though I'm not on the site that often anymore I've had a blast on TT. I want to give a special thanks to Mike D. and Rick V. for your kindness, I will never forget going to the US Open at Pebble. I have some TT stuff that I don't know what to do with as I won't sell them. I will be selling all of my Cameron items that I have left including a few rare head covers, stainless steel pivot tool, 2019 Cameron Pebble Beach Anniversary putter, etc.

    Good Luck To All!

Good luck in your future path.

I ponder how I will fade away from this community now that I’m in my 70’s. But even walking a local muni from the forward tees is still part of my lifetime goals. If for no other reason daily walks are so boring.

At this point in my golfing life, the only thing I could see keeping me away from the game we all love is if I can't play at a level that I feel is appropriate. For now, the camaraderie with other golfers makes those tough days less of an issue. Good luck and know that golf will still be there if you choose to come back...and of course, TT will always be here.

Bruce, guess there comes a time when things just are not fun anymore. Sorry to hear about your loss in the interest in the game. I have felt that way a few times over years, but I keep coming back. Guess that I am a gluten for punishment or just can not find a real interest in not catching red fish. They do not seem to like my bait. I really appreciate your friendship over the years on both sides of the isles (FJ and TT). I have tried to spread myself out between collecting art, traveling and golf and only playing three days a week. Because I know I can burn myself out. Some of my travels do not include golf, just my wife and I on family vacations. It is fun. We have spent 44 good years together and hoping for many more. She never complains about me playing golf and I have a job that supports my habit. I wish you luck on whatever is at the end of the tunnel for you and hope you will at least keep us updated as to your endeavors. Aloha my friend and remember, we are always here for you. ChuckZ.
  9. Aloha Bruce,

Very sorry to see you go, your recommendations on the Pebble trip are a great example of the bonds TTers have. My thoughts as I am trying to get my game back after my wrist injury have made me ponder possibly giving up the game, but I enjoy the Sunday mornings with my friends to much to give those up. Hopefully my swing will start to feel natural again, until then the laughs will keep me going. Take care.
