What types of marketing do you like to see once products are released for Tour Validation? Do you like to see the products in action for a few months prior to public unveiling? Would you be more likely to purchase new products at unveiling or several months post launch?

Good question. I think I would probably wait to see what kind of reviews some average golfers give the product. Not that I don't value the pro's opinion. It's just that my skill set is not at that level and I would like to get the opinion of some amateurs before I pull the trigger.

Personally, I love hearing what the pros think. Seeing them put a club in the bag right away speaks volumes in my opinion. I’m super pumped for the release of the TSR!

If Titleist didn't need to go through the process they go through, I wouldn't mind doing a public release soon after. Titleist does so much testing prior to the Tour Validation announcements, I trust any issues with the product have already been addressed in house. I'm guessing the next phase for the product is to do testing/fitting with Titleist staff pros before a true public release. I like how they space out the release of the irons from the woods; it can be overwhelming.

I like to see it in action prior to public unveiling. I like a build up lol.

I purchase the products once I see them at the fittings and how they perform. I do read up on them some, but performance and trackman is what sells me.
  7. It is nice to hear that the pros love the clubs, however, the true test is how they help my less than professional game. I have been very impressed with my TSi2 that I purchased last year, along with a complete bag of new T100s and TSi2 hybrid. If I go to a fitting and find the TSRs make a big difference for me, I would consider the switch.

Starting some limited advertising will help eliminate those complainer who say they just bought the TSi and did not know the TSr was coming. Too much advertising creates impatience in the marketplace. Seemed like this year there were a lot of people that did pre-orders of SM9 wedges that were sharing frustration with the wait, not understanding that the pre-order did not speed up production, just got them towards the head of the line for production. It's a fine line...

Hard question to answer at this time. All part of the supply issues. For now, the dribbles of information do generate interest but we now have to wait for details on fairways, then hybrids. As a LH I can’t get excited until I know what limited choices are possible.

As a senior golfer, I’d like to see the TSr-1 products be announced with the -2, -3, and -4 products - or at least a later release date so I know when I can go through both to see what works. I know I’m a small subset of your targets, but I’d like to know more at the same time as the major target groups.

I like the tour validation with some space in between the public release. Eventually I'll go to fitting and hit the new products & see if my game can benefit from what I see outside on grass with a trackman. So typically I go that route when I purchase product. I don't dabble in advertising , commercials as much as tour validation & actually fittings.

As usual, Dale is right. Ya can't begin to advertise to early in advance and get the consumers excited for nothing. I like seeing the guys who know what they are doing hit the clubs. We'll never see any of them say anything but good things but we know if they actually put them in tournament play there must be something good about it.

Being that I'm not a tour pro, I would have to hit the clubs and see how they perform for me.

I like Tour validation. Just like what they are doing with the TSR right now.
