I was watching the "Live from the Open" this morning as Jack Nicklaus given the honor as a Honorary Citizen of St Andrews. Only two other American's have that distinct honor; Bobby Jones and Benjamin Franklin, so it is really something to behold. Eight appearances at St Andrews and two Open wins there make it very special to him as he emphasized in his acceptance speech. You could see that it meant a lot to the GOAT as he could not hold back the tears as he delivered his speech. A very special moment at the Open this week and hope others got to see and experience his special event. =)
