Just noticed the FJ community is gone. What happens with our ambassador points? Will there be a FJ community on TT site?

As one of the FootJoy Ambassadors, we is also very active on this site, it did go about a month ago. Participation on the site was almost non existent. I have not heard that they could transfer to the "FJ Insider Program". If any of the other FJAs has heard anything differently maybe they will jump in. FootJoy and Titleist are two separate divisions of Acushnet, so do not a reason for a FJ community site on here. They have been supportive in allowing us to make posts regarding FJ products on the TT site. Maybe you should contact the FJ Insider Program and ask them about the points, or by calling FJ at the below number. CHUCKZ. =)

  3. I tried posting many times this year and none were published,
I guess it was too expensive to run and mantain with just a few members

Participation declined and it wasnt supported much by the FJ admin. Really declined when they stopped doing the invitationals!

I miss the FJ community, it was great to interact with FJ members and seeing FJ shoe collections, polos and other items. I wonder how Chris is doing, she was very nice.
Even though I didn't quite reach FJA status, I was given the ability to post things immediately without moderation which was great, I guess that they trusted me and what I would post.

Bruce, Devin was pretty much in charge of the community and when he left the company it all went down hill. He was never replaced. It took someone pretty much full time dedicated to the site for it to be effective. There are over 70 proud FootJoy Ambassadors all over the world because of that program. Sorry you did not make it. You were a positive force on the community. It was indeed fun posting the products and the coordination of apparel and shoes. Like a store display online for others to look at. Had to do good things for business. All good things have to come to an end, as they say. Appreciate all those thousands who participated in the community over the years.

Hey, Aloha Bruce, I'm still around. I'm chatting for FJ.com along with Bobby Swain and Ted Davies, both FJAs, so if you visit that site to shop, you may get one of us.

Though FJ did have other associates assigned to the FJ Community after Devin left, he was a dedicated employee and the new ones had other responsibilities in addition to FJC. It was a great place to chat with friends, but I'm not sure how much additional business it generated for FootJoy outside the Community Members - who were all good customers to start with! Budget cuts and costs wiped out the Invitationals, but we did have a non-sponsored get-together in the KC area where I live.

I don't post much on here because I don't have near the knowledge of clubs, balls, swing mechanics, etc., that this group has. But come check out www.footjoy.com!

Yep, noticed that the FJ forum went the way of the shield tip earlier this fall...

Maybe it's me but there seems to be more FJ discussion on this site.

With FJ dropping the community site. Could be, a number of the Ambassadors, as well as members of the community are very active members of Team Titleist. A lot of us were always Acushnet loyalists and participated on both sites.

I am saddened to hear this. I always enjoyed the FJ community even though I hadn't participated in a while. It was always fun to see what people were adding, especially when it came to the custom FJ's!
