Lots of private clubs in the area, if you're a member near Lake George your pro may be able to set you up with something on one of those. If not some good public tracts are Poquoy Brook, and the Pine Hills. Check the Mass Golf Assoc. website mgalinks.org for clubs in the area. If all else fails try Taconic in Williamstown on your way through or back, or even Green Mountain National if you haven't played it in Killington, only a hour away from Lake George.

Acushnet River Valley is located about ten minutes from the plant. It’s a municipal owned by the town of Acushnet. A buddy who plays it regularly tells me it’s in good shape this year. If you play it, ask in the pro shop for a recommendation for a local spot to grab a bite after the round. The fish restaurants are fantastic in that area.
