I’ve made the switch from TSi to TSR and it was significant. Going from 910 to TSR is going to be a vast difference.

Go do a fitting and put the two side by side and see what comes out.

That is twelve years and a lot of improvements in clubs and newer shafts. Yes I am sure you will find that the TSR will grab your attention. I let my 910 go years ago due to the advances that Titleist has made in their newer drivers. I have played the 913, 915, 917 and TSI, all due to improvement in accuracy, and distance. At 76 the TSI is giving me positive results and the shafts that I have been playing for a number of years (Fujikura Speeder) are going out of production. The could play a big part in getting a new driver for me. Dude time for you to consider an upgrade. Go see an experienced Titleist certified fitter.

There is a lot to be said for sticking with what makes you most comfortable. That said, the advancements in both head design and shaft technology since the 910D is significant. Only you can decide if you want to do a fitting where you can compare the numbers. I have heard a few cases where the TSi and TSr numbers were similar but I have not heard a case where a fitter could not beat the numbers from a significantly older model club.

I went from a 910 to a 915 & the change was an awesome upgrade. I play a Tsi2 now so I will say going from a 910 to a TSR would be a valuable upgrade based up technology alone.

Smart thing would be to go to a fitter & compare both clubs side by side & see for yourself what the TSR can bring to your game. I have a fitting later his month.

My TSR2 is the best driver I have ever hit. You will see a massive change from the 910 to the TSR. Just for fun I took my old 917 to the range with the TSR. No comparison.

I made the jump from 910 to TS - mostly for tighter dispersion and mild increase in ball speed (=distance).
Most important was finding the right shaft. I first tried the lighter stock shaft (how they sell speed nowadays), then a straight swap because 910 is as far back the adapters are compatible. Neither was working to make consistent strikes on the upper half of the sweet spot (new face technology) vs the middle of the 910 face. Once I found the right shaft, the jump is worth it.
I like multiple fittings to try as many shafts as possible. Multiple fittings allow you to have more consistent energy vs blowing through 100 balls and exhausted. And different days when your swing might vary and you see if results vary. Plus takes away the anxiety of finishing only to find ’good enough’.

I played the 905R for years, and upgraded to the TS3, then TSI3, and now TSR2. Nothing felt better than the 905R hit in the sweet spot. Age has reduced swing speed and these upgrades have allowed me minimal distance loss. I am now 62. The biggest difference in the TSR2 is that my mishits find the fairway more often very close to the the solid hits. I have tested drivers from every major manufacturer and nothing comes close to Titleist.

The 910 was one of the better iterations of the 900 series drivers Titleist produced, in my opinion.Although I know longer have it in the bag, it is my back up (910-D3; Project X 7C3 shaft stiff). But Chuck's right; the improvements made since then have been undeniable.

See a fitter and hit them side by side. I'd me amazed if the TSR didn't out perform the 910 in every category.

Joseph I dont think you will be disappointed. Im certain you will see improvements! If you really are concerned about it, head to a golf galaxy or something of the sort and test it out before you buy it!

Not even close! The difference is significant in all areas!

I had a 917 driver and now own a TSi 1. The difference is like comparing a car with a carburetor, to a car with fuel injection. When the TSR1 comes out, I'll no doubt be upgrading.

I also have the 910 in my bag. It’s the best driver (by far) that I’ve ever played. It’s like an old friend you can count on. Honestly, I think it’s time to make the move to the TSR series.

In sequence I've upgraded to TS3 and TSR3 drivers, continuing to use TENSEI CK Pro Orange 60 S and each upgrade has led to a few yards, I hit a lot of fairways10 because I'm old and rarely get over 100 mph any longer

Just replaced my 13 year old driver with a TSR3.

After a few range sessions to knock the spiderwebs off bc I hadn’t played in years I got fitted. Got a good laugh at the instant 20 yards I added with the off the rack TSR2. A couple shaft options and hosel adjustments later in the 2 and 3 I was 30 yards longer than the dinosaur stick I had. Having 9 iron in instead of 6 is going to be a lot of fun.

After my fitting experience and gains I saw I’d imginagine you’d see some pretty substantial gains.

I did a fitting Tuesday at my club with our pro. His fitting cart only has the stock shaft options and I was using range balls. My current gamer is a 915D3, 9.5* loft, Blueboard 60 stiff, A1 setting. Turned 64 this summer and have lost 4-5 mph swing speed since my fitting in 2015, so curious about the TSR2 and TSR3. With all shafts I didn't hit the TSR2 very well. Ended up with the TSR3, 10*, Hzrdus Black 60, 6.0 flex. I gained 12-15 yards over my 915 and very good dispersion.

I played the demo club yesterday in very windy, cool, conditions that turned bad on the back nine. I walked off on #16. Wind almost knocking me over, horizontal rain. I'd like a better weather conditions to play a round with the club, but early indications are it's the real deal. You'r going to see so much improvement from 910 to the TSR!!!

The fitting experience was a lot like other's I've had. One shaft hitting quality shots. The next shaft I hook the heck out of 3 in a row and put it away. Not me, it's the shaft. Another shaft had trouble getting the ball airborne. It cements in my mind that a guy needs to get fitted. Buying a club off the rack is a crap shoot with very poor odds.

Yup. Definitely will do a fitting before I do anything. I haven't bought off the rack in 15 years.

I still play the 910 D3.......nothing has replaced it yet, but the TSR will get a run this spring

I just jumped from the 917 to the TSR and well worth the distance.
